Mike Polito joined SK Life Science, Inc. in 2019 and is currently the VP, Head of Finance. With a career in finance spanning over 30 years, Mike brings immense accounting and finance acumen and analytical skills to SK Life Science, Inc. to help lead its finance and accounting team.

The Finance business function Mike leads, ensures fiscal responsibility and transparency across SKLSI’s operations and compliance with financial controls and reporting obligations. Finance includes two key functions:

• Accounting: Handles all aspects of the general ledger function and related controls, accounts payable and T&E processing, internal and external financial reporting, tax reporting and compliance, and coordination and support of all financial audits.
• Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Manages revenue and expense budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making. FP&A partners with business operations colleagues to ensure that resources are allocated efficiently to maximize value creation and business sustainability.

At SK Life Science, Inc. Mike has been successful in overseeing the accounting, finance, and reporting of the US-based entity, building a high performing accounting team, and implementing strategic processes to meet the needs of the publicly traded parent company in South Korea.

Before joining SK Life Science, Inc., Mike worked with healthcare and branded and generic pharmaceutical companies ranging from start-ups to multi-national publicly traded companies. At these companies, he provided CFO-level support, financial guidance, and played a crucial part in various strategic initiatives.

Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lehigh University. In addition, Mike is a licensed CPA in New Jersey.
